Delete your SpeakPen account

SpeakPen is operated by Qumge. You can delete your SpeakPen account yourself, at any time, from inside the app.

How to delete your account

• iPhone: open SpeakPen, go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm.
• Android: open SpeakPen, go to the Settings tab, tap Delete My Account under Delete Account, and confirm.
• Web: sign in at speakpen.app/app, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, and confirm.

What happens when you delete

• Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. You can no longer sign in with it.
• After 30 days, your account and all of its data are permanently deleted from SpeakPen: your notes, transcripts and summaries, audio recordings, public share links, settings, usage counts, subscription records, API tokens and connected apps (ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants you connected).
• This cannot be undone.

Subscriptions and payments

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it separately, or you may keep being billed:

• iPhone: in your Apple ID subscription settings (App Store).
• Android: in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Web: through the payment provider that billed you.

Payments are processed by Apple, Google or our web payment provider. We do not store your card or bank details, and their own payment records are kept under their own policies — we cannot delete them.

Can't sign in?

Email [email protected] from the email address of your SpeakPen account and ask us to delete it.
